    Ingredients

    1 (28 ounce) bottle ketchup
    1 (12 ounce) bottle chile sauce
    1/3 cup prepared mustard
    1 tablespoon ground dry mustard
    1 1/2 cups packed brown sugar
    2 tablespoons coarsely ground black pepper
    1 1/2 cups white wine vinegar
    1 dash hot pepper sauce
    1/4 cup Worcestershire sauce
    2 tablespoons soy sauce
    2 tablespoons vegetable oil
    1 (12 fluid ounce) can or bottle beer
    1 cup lemon juice
    3 cloves garlic, peeled and crushed

    Directions

    In a large bowl, mix ketchup, chile sauce, prepared mustard, ground dry mustard, brown sugar, black pepper, white wine vinegar, hot pepper sauce, Worcestershire sauce, soy sauce, vegetable oil, beer and lemon juice. Cover and refrigerate until use. Approximately 1 hour before use, mix in the garlic. Apply generously to desired meats during the final minutes of cooking.

  • Pork Cutlets with Cranberry Wine Sauce Recipe

    Ingredients

    1 tablespoon olive oil
    4 boneless pork chops, 1/2-inch thick
    salt and pepper to taste
    2 cloves garlic, minced
    1 1/4 cups dry white wine
    1 1/4 cups whole berry cranberry sauce
    1 tablespoon thinly sliced fresh sage leaves
    1 tablespoon chopped fresh thyme
    1 tablespoon chopped Italian flat leaf parsley

    Directions

    Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).

    Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Season the pork with salt and pepper. Fry in the oil until browned on each side, 2 to 3 minutes. Transfer the pork to a baking dish, and place in the preheated oven.

    Reduce the heat under the skillet to medium and add the garlic. Cook and stir just until fragrant. Stir in the wine and cranberry sauce. Simmer for a few minutes until the sauce thickens slightly. Stir in the sage and thyme. Return the pork to the skillet and turn to coat with the sauce. Place on plates to serve and garnish with fresh parsley.

    Ingredients

    5 medium tomatoes, sliced
    1/4 pound fresh mushrooms, sliced
    3/4 cup vegetable oil
    1/4 cup red wine vinegar
    3 garlic cloves, minced
    1 tablespoon minced fresh parsley
    1/2 teaspoon salt

    Directions

    In a large shallow dish, layer the tomatoes and mushrooms. In a bowl, whisk the oil, vinegar, garlic, parsley and salt. Pour over vegetables. Cover and refrigerate for at least 4 hours, turning occasionally. Serve with a slotted spoon.

    Ingredients

    1 cup all-purpose flour
    1/2 tablespoon dried thyme
    2 tablespoons dried basil
    1 tablespoon dried parsley
    1 teaspoon paprika
    1 teaspoon salt
    1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper
    1 teaspoon garlic powder
    4 boneless, skinless chicken breast halves
    1/2 cup butter
    1 (10.75 ounce) can condensed cream of mushroom soup
    1 (10.5 ounce) can condensed chicken broth
    1/4 cup dry white wine
    1 lemon, juiced
    1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley
    2 tablespoons capers
    1 tablespoon grated lemon zest

    Directions

    In a shallow dish or bowl, combine the flour, thyme, basil, parsley, paprika, salt, ground black pepper, and garlic powder. Dredge chicken in the mixture to coat, patting off any excess flour.

    Melt butter in a large skillet over medium heat, and cook chicken until no longer translucent. In a medium bowl, mix together the cream of mushroom soup, chicken broth, wine, and lemon juice; pour over chicken.

    Cover skillet, and simmer 20 minutes, or until chicken is no longer pink and juices run clear. Garnish with parsley, capers, and lemon zest.
